Brookshire

Brookshire

Directions: I-10 West to the Brookshire exit. Once you exit, go right (north) onto Hwy 359 and follow the 359 signs through town. Once over the railroad tracks, travel 1 to 2 miles. Look for Royal High School on the right. The schools most prominent feature is a big blue roof. The school prefers that cyclists park behind the school, not in front.

Alternate Route: If you are coming from far north Houston, Spring or the Woodlands, take FM 2920 West to Waller. FM 2920 dead-ends into Business 290 (Exxon station on corner). Turn right and go through the big city of Waller for about 1 mile. Turn left onto FM 362. Stay on FM 362 until Brookshire. You can stay on FM 362 until it intersects FM 359 (Exxon station on corner). Turn right on FM 359 and the school will be on the right a short distance down the road. Alternatively, as you are on FM 362, prior to Brookshire, you will see the school on the right (look for the big blue roof) and there are several side roads you can turn onto that will short cut you to the school without going into Brookshire and turning back onto FM 359.

NOTICE: Remember to park at the HIGH SCHOOL. There are several schools together, but the team will meet at the high school.

This is a relatively flat ride along country roads. There are several convenience stores along the route. If you are riding the longer route, please be especially careful on FM 529 and FM 362 because of heavier traffic.

There are three routes: 25, 44 & 58 miles
