Riders and Volunteers - Come Help Out

Its that time again! The ExxonMobil Cycling Team is gearing up for this year’s MS150 and our Volunteer Coordinators, Paul & Liz Tepikian are reaching out for volunteers to help support the Team once again!  The Team expects to have about 300 riders participating this year which is scheduled for April 17 and 18.

To support the ExxonMobil Team riders, volunteers are needed in many capacities, both prior to the event and during the weekend of the ride.  We help kick-off at Chemical Headquarters on Katy Freeway on Saturday morning, staff lunch stops in Belleville (Saturday) and Bastrop (Sunday), set up and staff the team tent in La Grange, shuttle riders from the tent site to the hotel, host the team tent at the finish in Austin, and, of course, contribute lots of cheering.

There are many teams that riders can choose and one reason many have decided to ride with ExxonMobil is because of the superior volunteer support that has been provided in past years.

You can volunteer for a few hours or for the entire weekend.  Completing the survey below will provide us with a better understanding of what and where you are able to assist.

If you or a family member is interested in helping out, please contact Paul or Liz Tepikian.

Also, note that our efforts raise money for the MS Society thru ExxonMobil’s VIP program.  Last year we collected an several thousand additional $'s for the MS Society thru ExxonMobil VIP grants (so one piece of info we will be looking for is the personnel number for either you or the EM rider that you are affiliated with).  Thanks in advance.

Additional Volunteer Opportunities

The ExxonMobil Cycling Team is sponsoring four training rides this training season, and hosting a safety picnic where riders can pick up helpful safety tips as well as their packets and jerseys.  If you are interested please contact Jim Robin.
